Mahi, an education veteran with over 12 years of experience, hails from Dehradun and completed her undergraduate studies at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. She deepened her expertise with a Master’s in Education from Azim Premji University in Bangalore.
Further, as a principal in a rural K-12 school, she honed her understanding of students’
unique needs in conflict-affected areas, dedicating herself to providing vital resources and support for their success.
In her diverse career, Mahi has been an education researcher in the Dal region, gaining insights into challenges faced by underserved students. She served as a social science teacher in Aakash, where she developed an ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, teaching sensitive topics such as democracy and freedom in a conflict zone. Mahi has worked as a curriculum designer, leveraging her broad expertise to create impactful educational materials that can help students succeed.
